I'm 27, and I can't help it. Every once in awhile you just gotta light em up to make someone smile. I will continue to until I'm to old to drive myself. But I leave the big ones for burnout contests. www.crestonrodrun.com check me out 2 2006 easter burnout videos. I'm from Columbus NE. Theres more mustangs in this town than you can shake a stick at.

I am an 18 year old that am lucky enough to own a 2005 Roush Mustang with over 500 horsepower. I have had that car since I was 16. And I never did any one of the stupid things you all talk about. I agree with you all that the majority of teenagers with over 220 horsepower are messing it up for all of us. I have had tons of teenagers want to race me in other mustangs and I tell them hey this isn't the place to be doing it. And they just take off at the green light. I grew up in a muscle car family and I knew before I even got my license what they are capable of so i think these parents that are just giving there kids these sumwhat high horsepower cars are crazy. I visit my parents house in the country where I used to race in the back roads but I had never once raced on busy streets where there are other cars and people around. SO like the guy who started this post SHOW SOME RESPECT!!!!!

And one more thing the way I have and still do pay for my insurance is my father and I had started a tree service in 2004. And we have done pretty well for ourself and have grown a lot bigger. SO I am not just some kid whose mommy's and daddy's got lots of money who paid for everything for me. I worked hard and earned every cent of it.

Well I have not read this entire thread...but enough that I am throwing my two cents in..
My first car in the 70's was a 69 Chevelle SS 396. Yes I got on it and yes we'd street race. Yes that was along time ago and there wasn't as much traffic. However, was I stupid? Nope. I had total control over that car and a good driver.
I have NEVER had an accident. Not one. So did I cause insurance rates to jump up back then? No I didn't. Did I get tickets, yep I did get one back then...actually have only had 3 since 1971.
You are always going to have kids doing stuff no matter what car they have. If you as a parent KNOW your kid is a lousy driver, then either don't give him permission to get a license or don't let him have a car period.

omg dude was just making a point and now everybody is at each others necks! yes its true SOME(not all) younger people drive stupid no matter what they have( stang, Z car, rice so on) and we all do have to payfor it in the long run.look, thats still no need to throw all kids under the bus! but i do agree i ( now 27) still get pulled over only when im in my stang for no other reason than to see what i doing and where im going. yes it gets old but deal with it or get a land yaght lol

Wow, I completely agree with everything here. It's pretty bad how stupid people can be.
