I'm also a young driver who actually KNOWS how to drive a fast car. Its perfectly safe to spin your tires and drift around a turn (maybe not at a busy intersection but on less busy neighborhood roads) and what exactly is wrong with being young and arrogant. You know damn well that when you were 20 years old and if you had a Mustang or any other fast car you would be doing the same thing. I've been driving cars rally style and racing Mustangs since I was barely a teenager, I grew up in a raceing family and know how to drive. Just because your old and got a mid-life crisis to make yourselves feel young again doesn't make you any better of a driver than I am. You have no right to persucute any body, espescially young people. Because like I said before, you had the oppportunity to have what we younger kids have when you were our age you would be doing the exact same thing

How many times must I say this....I am not talking about every *** 18 - 20 year old who drives a mustang...I am talking about the idiots who recklessly fly around town because they think they are a professional race car driver.... And you know something you sound like one of these stupid kids....yes I am sure you are a great rally driver (what a moron). So take your mustang ( or your "race car" ) drift and burn up your tires ( Because it is perfectly safe according to you ) nevermind the death statistics related to traffics accidents.
Race drivers are race driver because they race responsibly on a track with rules and safety specs. Not because they are posers who drift and "spin there wheels" on the highway. So go drift your into the side of a transport living out your fast and furious fantasies because your a qualified idiot. And by the way a$$ clown I am 22 so stick your midlife crisis theory unless you consider 11 midlife.

You know what Stangguy, I was going to bite into you for your ridiculous comments, but it would be like challenging Mr. Reeve to a foot race in a rocky environment. There are so many problems with your statements. You are only proving my point. "Two years" driving experience? Who cares! And wait, you also state that you don't yet have a license. Do us all a favor and don't post again. We are now all a little dumber for having read your post. One last thing, learn to spell.

Thank you for your post. When I originally started this string I was hoping to hear from a complete moron like you. I hope you get seriously hurt "drifting" around a corner playing "Mr. Race car driver". Then responsible drivers can use your stupid a$$ as a poster child for reasons not to give stupid people fast cars. You race on the weekends? Who cares. Race track/Drag strips do not equal public roads. I have never in my life seen a safe place to "drift" on a public road. It's been proven time, and time, and time again that almost all young drivers are not equipped to do what you claim you can. Stupidity is ageless and you seem to have a healthy dose of it.ffice ffice" />>>

So go have fun "drifting" just do me a favor and tell your parents to post after you've impaled yourself on a street sign or guard rail. It will be helpful in further proving my point. Make sure you tell them you want your racing # airbrushed on your coffin as well.

By the way, I'm 26 so don't even think about bringing up the age crap.

stanguy,
You say you want to buy a 05 gt yet your only 18. Don't you mean you wish you could buy a 05 gt. Or you parents will buy it for you. Secondly you say you are are responsible driver who deserves to own a fast car. Yet in the next sentence you claim that you don't even have a licence. Your an idiot , if your going to make up some BS story to post at least make it believible. On second thought don't even bother posting again. We are now all dumber from reading your post.

Time for me to post i am 15. About to get my lic. I got or had a decision on what i got. Which was a stang. I didnt g o for no dang 5.0. I hate all these dang kids that think they know what there doing but dont. IF i had a 5.0 i wouldnt take it over the speedlimit unless i was at a race track. I know about racing and hp and drift and alll this other stuff because i have listen to my grand father who used to race and drag from light to light. But when he did that it was back where there were barely any damn cars on the road. It is not safe at all to race up and down streets anymore. Ive seen to many good mustangs reacked and everytime its some kid getting pulled out of it.

You confuse me CopCoupe. I've read some of your other posts and you seem to know your stuff. I've also seen your car and it's in very good taste. As a matter of fact it's one very nice car. You must really respect Mustangs to take a Mustang and do it such justice. But then you post ridiculous remarks making fun of people. You seem smarter than that. Not trying to start a fight, just questioning your motives.

"F-me" huh? Guess what, you want to have a battle of wits? Better bring a bazooka. You buy your '05, and with daddy's money. No 18 or 19 year old makes enough to afford a $25,000+ car. No exceptions. Any 19 yr old that can has been given money or collected an inheritance or bank account in their name. You make enough to afford a $450+/month car payment? How about insurance? Hmmm… You know what; no matter what you drive you'll always be an idiot. How does it feel to be so flagrantly stupid? Money, cars, possessions, none will help you to escape your overwhelming lack of intelligence. So cuss all you want. Tell you what, I'll save you tuition to college and give you your diploma now:

So shove it up your ass, boy. You have a lot to learn. Look to the bright side. You'll have a '05 GT to sit and weep in when you finally have the epiphany that your one of the stupid ones destined to live life as a mediocre child-like adult. Have fun wasting daddy's cash in college. Oh, have fun getting your license as well. Or wait, you already drive…..seems confusing.

Sorry but i have to disagree, i don't believe this clown any more than anybody else, but there are some 19-20 year olds who do have that kinda money, made on there own, my cousin landed the job of a lifetime about a year ago. he started at 55grand per year, and now he makes even more, beleive it or not. he has a '96 T-bird and a restored vette, the catch is that he doesn't pay rent, but if he can do why can't there be more people out there like him, and by the way his parents don't have a lot of money

they can't afford it? I know 19 year old kid who hangs out with the "car guys" on the weekends and is paying for his own 03 cobra, and he busts his butt for it. His car made it in a recent MM&FF magizine when they covered the FFW At national trail raceway near columbus. I forget how much he said he had put down on it but he worked 5-6 days a week from the time he was 16 to afford a good down payment.
saying that NO 19 year old kid could do it without help is ignorant.
There are 19 year old kids just out of high school around that decided to go into union construction and make 30 to 40K a year it's not easy work, but the pay is good.
I have addressed your statement in a positive manner, considering the title of this thread is respect, ,whouldn't it be alot mor helpful to encourage a person even though they have big dreams at the time. It's the people who don't have big dreams to work for that turn out to be the "mediocre child-like adult." Although i see nothing wrong with being child like.

I'm not going to argue with you. Aspirations are good, I agree. But this kid has no clue. I'm not trying to be mean; it's just that punk kids blurting out "I'm going to college next year and driving my brand new '05 Gt to get there" disgust me. Once again, another daddy's money kid who has no clue about money or how to earn it. No, I'm not jealous either; if I wanted a '05 I'd buy one. You mentioned the union trades? Well I'm a union electrician. So yes, I do work for a living. Let me tell you this, a 19yr old apprentice does not make good money. Our starting wage is $9.50.
ffice ffice" />> >
Anyway, I'm not picking a fight with you, I was just putting that kid in his place. He has a lot to learn.
