I have a 98 gt with a steeda tri-ax shifter, summit pulleys, 3:73 ford racing gears, slp long tube headers, slp X-pipe w/cats and slp loud mouth exhaust system. I plan to purchase a head and cam combo next. I'm thinking of going with the patriot stage 2 heads. On the cam im not sure, this is where I need help. I want to get a good combo that gives me the best bang for my buck. I also plan on getting the bullit intake kit. A supercharger/pro charger is on the install list(down the road). I drive the car about 12 miles a day to an from work. The main thing is I want to get the maxium hp/ performance out of that combo. If anyone knows anything please let me know. Thank you.

The Bullet intake will work but won't give much more performance until you get the blower.  For the cams I would recommend going with the Comp Cams series.  They should have three stages, go with the second unless you're going a more serious route.  Just a suggestion, go with the beehive springs on the valves.

Thank you for the info, on thoses cams how serious is the third stage. And is that to much for a daily driver? What do you think about the patriot stage 2 heads vs. porting and polishing the stock ones? Thanks again for you help.

The third stage would definately have a rumpty rump at idle and would work.  The only thing is to get a tuner like Diablo or other to change the rev limit.  Do that and it'd work.  The Patriot heads would be the better choice only because they're already done for you.  You could port the factory heads but it'd cost about the same and take longer to get back.

Thank you again. I have another one for you.....with all this being done, how much of a difference would a 70mm thottle body compare to a 75mm one? Thanks for your help.

Let me put it this way.  On a scale of 1-10, the 70 would be a 9 for throttle response and an 8 for power.  With the 75, 8 for response and 9 for power.  Either way you'd do well.  If you're eventually get a blower, go with the 70.  They seem to do better with that due to the boost working with the size of the throttle body.  It's equivalent to getting too large of exhaust pipes.  You need a little resistence to enhance the air flow.
