I own an '03 Mustang with a V6. A little underpowered, I know, but it's all I could afford. I have a VERY limited budget, but I still want to improve the car's performance. I'm considering getting a Flowmaster muffler and cold air intake system to start. Is this a good idea or is there something else you guys would recommend?

DR Jazz,
With a V6 it tends to be alot harder to obtain performance with a small budget. However the best thing you can do, is to help it breath better, and in your case, yes a cold air kit would be good. If you can afford it, some parts suppliers also offer a dual exhaust conversion for the Mustang Coupe. So look into that. A bigger throttle body might also help you out a bit. You could just save up your money, and opt. for a 4.6L. ![]()
