Hi Im wondering what a 1980Turbo Gt Cobra Mustang is worth and are they rare? The one i found is mint body, the paint is faded, But for the age it nice, It only has 77 thousand Kms on it , Also how many were made.Email if any one knows anything if ya dont mind, Thanks Rob turbocoupe2@hotmail.com

They're pretty rare, but not that popular yet. The carbureted turbo motor was plagued with a variety of problems which is why they ditched it until they broought it back in fuel-injected form. If you can hold on to it, it might not be a bad car to buy if the price is right. You could always pawn it off to someone on turboford.org.

dude there awesome cars but one suggestion go with the later fuel injected turbo 4 they make more horses and run so much better

Not yet known how many Cobra option packages were ordered in the '80 model year. It's not a GT though. Was no GT until '82.
The '79-'81 Cobra packages came with either a turbocharged 2.3L engine or a 5.0L ('79) or 4.2L ('80-'81) engine. The 2.3L was standard and the V8 was optional.
