I have a 2001 GT automatic with a NOS dry kit with a 125 shot.  I have MAC longtube headers, prochamber off road h-pipe and flowmaster 40 serises catback.  I am running a 295/40 18' I went to the track and ran a 13.0 at 110mph.  I would like to use 410 gears cnl upper intake plenum with a 70mm BK throttle body a BBK cold air intake.  I want to run low 12 s will this combination work?  Should I use the NOS nozzle kit toachieve this goal?  Will 410s be the right gears for this setup?  Any other suggetstions for to reach this goal with nitrous?

I would put a higher stall convertor in it with 4.10's or 4.56's if your not planning on going on long trips.  I had an 01 GT with an auto and it really woke up to a gear swap.  Have you reflashed the computer?  If not I have the SCT chip I bought for my car and kept after I sold it.  Made a huge difference, let me know if you're interested.

How much for the chip?  Are you sure 410 will work I do not want to use 456.  I have been told that I will run out of RPMs before I reach the trap.  I am going to use the wit kit.

I bought the chip for $290 directly from SCT in 2002.  I sent it back in January when I sold the car (I bought an 06 GT) and they replaced it for $12.50 and updated the program.  I don't recall what the HP number gains were but they were around 24 hp and 34 tq.  Increase in shift firmness, no top speed limiter and better throttle reponse, 500 more RPM's and you have to run 91 octane, 2-3 mpg gain if you keep your foot out of it.  The chip really woke up the car.  Check your computer code on the passenger side door.  It needs to be NUX2.  If you can't find it on your door, try pulling out the kick panel on passenger side and there will be a white sticker with the code on it on the computer.

My 01 GT came stock with 2.82 rear end which is typical from Ford.  I had it replaced under warranty for free and they put in 3.30 rear end.  Huge difference and it helped with the off the line pick-up.  3.73's or 4.10's would be the max I would go.  If it was a car I used for fun and wanted to take it to the strip and didn't have to commute, 4.10's is where I would go.  I think you be happy 3.73's also.

email me direct at mrtetens@snowcrest.net I'm changing my dial-up server this week so if I don't answer right away I'll check the message board.  I listed the chip on Ebay for $150.  What state are you in?
