well not really but might as well be.  turns out that lincoln will drop the LS and Town Car in 2008 and replace them with some rebadged Volvos.  i must say it is very sad and very stupid.  why do this when all your main import compitention is rear wheel drive and chrysler and GM is moving back into the rear wheel drive market.  i guess they either think we want boaring cars or they think that the compitention needs better car sales.  rear wheel drive is the main reason lincoln has even had any customers in the past few years.  i have driven a LS before and it is a very dandy car and i don't see any reason for a drastic change in it.  the ls is known for being a very fun to drive sports sedan but i guess that is all about to change.  i have a lot of passion for cars and i think if you do too then you should write to ford.  i know i really want to.  it might not do any good but i want them to hear my opinion.  can anyone hook me up with an address?  oh yean and RIP Lincoln.  if i am ever in the market for a luxuary sedan i will see what chrysler, germany, or maybe even GM has to offer.  i read this story in the march motor trend.
