If someone came up to you right now and ask you if you wanted a Saleen or Roush what would you choose? Well I asked all of my mustang friends and more then half said Roush, now there is nothing wrong with roushes but Saleen are sexier and well faster! Ok I dont know but what would you guys rather have? For me no questions asked Saleen. When I sell my pos just kidding I love my car, I am thinking about buying a 01 Saleen, I have found some for around $25,000 with great miles. So that will be my next ride. Well please write me back and let me know why your chose would be!

Saleen.  No question about it.  Better handling car, faster, looks better and has been around longer.  Will also be worth more 20 yrs. from now.  

It's all a matter of opinion.  There aren't as many Roush cars as there are Saleen cars since Roush hasn't been producing them for as long as Saleen has.

Personally, I like different features about the different cars.

It depends on what Saleen or Roush you are talking about. I like the Roush Stage 3, it looks mean and I like the side exhaust. But I also love the Saleen's looks, performance, etc. In 2002 MM&FF did a comparison between the S-281 SC and the Stage 3. The Roush actually won the 1/4 mile race by .2 tenths or around there. It would be a tough decision. If I could afford it I would try to get a S-281 Extreme.

Roush all the way.   I never see them so it would be cooler to have one.

i love the saleens s-281 extremes but Roushs are harder to come by..i would get a roush stage 2 or 3  

It depends what you are going for.  94-98 & '05 I think the saleens look better but I think the Roush looks better for 99-04 but that's not important that is my opinion.  The important thing is Roush stage 1 & 2 have no power mods other then the cat back.  The 99 & up basic S-281 are rated at 290 horsepower thanks to pulleys, a computer flash and the cat back.  I have driven a '98 saleen cobra a lot and besides some interior creeks the fit and finish of the saleen mods is very factory like.
