i just bought an 89 lx mustang and he installed 4:10 gears and he never fixed the speedo....what do i need to do get one that will work....either getting the stock one working or installing a dash mounted aftermarket one will be good for me...i just need one because the car will be a daily driver...thanx for any help

I HAVE A 89 COUPE 4 CYL. BODY. A 5.0 C-4 COMBO HAS BEEN INSTALLED. PROB. IS MY SPEEDOMETER READS TOO FAST. 85 MPH WAS REPLACED WITH A 140 MPH, SAME PROB. 4.10 GEARS WERE INSTALLED WITH 23 TOOTH SPEEDO GEAR. NO HELP. WHEN I'M DOING 55 SPEEDO READS 120. ANY IDEAS. I DIDN'T KNOW IF THE 4 CYL. SPEEDO CABLE WAS DIFF. FROM 5.0 CABLE.
