You got it. I'll talk to him. I have *** hitting the fan right now, but I should have time to get over there next week. I'll try to get you a price. If for no other reason. So you'll know what a fair price is.

Thanks for checking that out.
I hope the stuff hitting the fan isn't too bad. It happens to me a lot, so I can recommend not standing in front of the fan if at all possible (or wearing a rain coat).
I got a chance to do some odds and ends on my car tonight (the kid had a nap at 7:00 PM). I fabricated some hot air tubes for my headers, cleaned up a wire on my oil sender, capped off my fuel return line (no longer used) and replaced a hose clamp. It's not much, but it's the only progress I've made in weeks. Hopefully I can get the timing back to stock this weekend and then get it smogged. California smog testing sucks.
After that, the underdrive pullies are back on, new carb. goes on, timing gets bumped back to 14, K&N goes back in. ... aye, aye aye, every two years ... You might ask, why not put the new carb. on before the smog test?... this way if I fail smog, I can apply the price of the carb. towards the maximum they can charge me to 'repair' my car and get it to pass.

The 83 through 87 Turbo Coupes had 7.5" rears. In '88, Ford put the 8.8" disc brake rear on the car. I've heard that it was a late-88 addition, but don't know the accuracy of that.
