i want to get the ROUSH supercharger...I was wondering...can the engine be too old to add a Supercharger?

Just make sure the rings are sealing and the bearings are in good condition.
Do a compression test on all the cylinders. Then do a leak-down test of each cylinder. That will test the rings. If you have a weak cylinder, it could be a valve not sealing.
The bearings you'll need to physically check or take a gamble on. The bearings can take a pounding when you add any power adder.
